Do you want to learn to grow your own food and take a step towards becoming a farmer? Albion Hills Community Farm is now accepting applications for internships at the farm from May to the end of September. Come and immerse yourself in the world of local, sustainable agriculture!
Through farm work and discussion, interns would be exposed to various aspects of environmentally friendly agriculture, including plant propagation, plant care, soil preparation and health, pest-management, weed control, cover-cropping, harvesting, planning & marketing.
As a potential Intern, you must be willing to commit to 40 hours per week and be excited to receive agricultural skills, knowledge, and organic veggies in exchange for your labour, as well as a bi-weekly stipend. Accommodation is now available on-site
